My Dear Friends of Chalice
of Mercy,
On August 2, 2009 my friends and I received an amazing opportunity
to attend a presentation in LaCrosse, WI about St. Gianna Beretta Molla, hosted by Archbishop Raymond L. Burke.
We were fortunate to meet Pier Luigi Molla, son of St. Gianna. We also heard about the St. Gianna Physicians Guild from
Thomas McKenna. We were amazed to learn about the Guilds important mission of helping doctors do their “Priestly
Mission” at hospitals, and to fight for the life of unborn children.
After I heard this presentation, I talked with Thomas McKenna about Chalice of Mercy’s mission in Ukraine,
and how our missions are very similar; to open the hearts of doctors and help promote human dignity
and the importance of the life of unborn children. Upon hearing this he opened his heart immediately and wanted to help
with our mission. So, in May, Thomas McKenna is coming to Ukraine to introduce the St. Gianna Guild to several hospitals.
Mr. McKenna is traveling first to Kiev , then Vinniza, and then to Zaporozhye – to the
hospital where Chalice of Mercy recently shipped a 40’ container of medical supplies.
Also, Mr. McKenna recently made a new movie about the life of St. Gianna, and has
agreed to translate it into Ukrainian. We are working on the narration texts of the movie and plan on making many copies
to take with us to Ukraine . This is truly a gift from God. Thomas’s trip to Ukraine will change so many
doctors’ hearts, which will save lives of many unborn children.

this email to you to ask for your help. I beg all of you receiving this email to prayerfully consider any amount you
are able to donate towards Thomas McKenna’s visit to Ukraine and movie translation. $5,000 is needed by the end
of February, and this is very possible with your generous donation. I greatly need your support to make this possible.
